My Inspiration

These two guys play a huge part of where my passion comes from My Dad Peter Tomasello and Brother Matt. In this photo my dad was in remission from his Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I still remember the day he was diagnosed like it was yesterday. What he experienced truly changed the way I viewed the world because I never thought I had to live to see the day where doctors at Moffit were saying to my mom, my dad had three days to live. His Leukemia spread all over his body causing him to be in a coma for 7 weeks, go blind and be paralysis. I watched cancer completely take over my family’s life for many years, it was hard watching. Most importantly is what I learned from that experienced is there is so many people around the world that has experienced what my dad went through. From our pain it can be turned into purpose and passion to help the future generations hopefully not have to watch the same things I went through.

Thank you to Moffitt Cancer Center and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for being the reason why my dad is still alive.
